AITVM member Chiang Mai University in Thailand joint the ‘Southeast Asia One Health University Network’ initiative. An other partner in Thailand is Mahidol University in Bangkok (see Spectrum vol. 18, nr. 2 page 9) where the regonal coordinating office is based. At Chiang Mai University the One Research is managed by the Eco Health One Health Resource centre. The USAID funded One-Health Initiative was esthablished to address infectious diseases of humans and animals and works by adopting a multidiciplinary and collaborative approach to healthcare.
